Adobe Reader
Adobe PDF is the global standard file format for trusted distribution and viewing of information. Adobe Reader 8 is the free software that allows viewing, printing and interacting with PDFs (including forms and commenting).

Firefox
Firefox is the one supported web browser in LPS for all computer platforms. Firefox is a free, open-source and cross-platform web browser for Windows, MacOS X and other operating systems. It is small, fast and easy to use, and offers many advantages over other web browsers, such as tabbed browsing and the ability to block pop-up windows.

Microsoft Compatibility Pack
Microsoft has introduced new file formats with its latest version of Microsoft Office. (docx, xlsx, pptx) Unfortunately, they can not be opened in the existing versions of Microsoft Office. This page explains how to deal with that.

SurePDF for Printing to the Print Shop
SurePDF allows documents to be printed directly to the Lincoln Public Schools print center at the district office from your computer's printer list.
