Lincoln Southwest High School presents “A Christmas Carol”

Originally published on: November 6, 2009

What would the holidays be without a visit from Ebenezer Scrooge? This family holiday entertainment, inspired by Charles Dickens' immortal tale, tackles the issues of social injustice and poverty. ONLY A SCROOGE WOULD MISS IT!

It follows a single day in the life of miserly, bitter Ebenezer Scrooge, a successful businessman who holds everything except wealth in contempt.  He’s visited by his former partner and warned to change his ways and embrace warmth, love, compassion and charity.  Visits from three spirits follow, showing Scrooge his past, present, and future.  In the end, Scrooge has a new lease on life, with a little help from Tiny Tim!

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, November 10.  $8 for Adults/$6 for Students.  Call 436-1306 (EXT: 66039) for tickets and information.
