Zeman’s Devney accepts new position at Waverly Public Schools

Zeman Elementary School Principal Rik Devney announced on Thursday that he accepted a position at Waverly Public Schools as Director of HR/Communications. 

Devney has served as Zeman’s principal since 2020. Prior to Zeman, he was the principal at Huntington Elementary for 11 years. Devney also served as coordinator at Lakeview, and a Special Education coordinator at Humann Elementary School. Devney began teaching at Humann in 1996.

Devney will finish the school year at Zeman before starting his new duties at Waverly Public Schools in July.
