New Educator Spotlight: Peter Nguyen

April 1, 2022

Throughout the school year we'll be featuring one of our new LPS educators to get to know a little more about them and why they chose to be an educator. This week it's Peter Nguyen, interventionist at Clinton Elementary.

Why did you want to become an educator?

Growing up, I didn't have a male role model in my life and it led me to get into a lot of trouble. While in school at LPS, an administrator took me under his wing and it changed my life for the better. Since then, I've always wanted to be that role model for students missing that.

Did you attend Lincoln Public Schools as a student? If so, which school(s)?

Clinton, Culler, and Northeast

Where did you attend college?

UNL

What is a fun fact about you?

I attended Clinton Elementary, where I am now a teacher!
