LPS Multicultural Scholar Town Hall with Steve Joel
Lincoln Public Schools Superintendent Steve Joel participated in a town hall on Tuesday with students from across the district in which he fielded questions about equity, diversity and inclusion within LPS.
The event was based at Lincoln North Star High School and included summer school students participating both in-person and online. It was moderated by North Star senior Zein Saleh, who is a member of the LPS Scholar Equity Cadre Executive Group.
Established in 2020, these town halls are held quarterly and planned by the scholar equity cadre.
