Summer preschool serves children, families across Lincoln

Lincoln Public Schools has served 110 young children and their families through summer preschool in June and July.

LPS offers summer preschool at 11 elementary schools, covering all corners of the city - from Adams in the southwest to Pershing in the northeast - as well as numerous neighborhoods in between, such as McPhee, Elliott and Pyrtle. Summer preschool is 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Thursday.

Last school year, LPS served more than 2,000 children ages birth to five and their families through comprehensive and family-oriented services across 65 classrooms.
