Showtime with the Sheridan Singers

The Sheridan Singers, fifth-grade students from Sheridan Elementary School, swung by Lincoln Public Schools District Office for a special year-end concert on Monday, when they performed music they wrote under the direction of music teacher Laura Keller. Their song subjects ranged from the silly (their love of candy) to the serious (Hurricane Katrina). Students introduced each song with a brief explanatation, which they also wrote themselves.

Before their LPS appearance, the students performed at the Eastmont Towers retirement community.
