Beattie Elementary students delighted by special stories

Beattie Elementary students had a special visitor Friday, Sept. 21.

Ricky Smith has delighted audiences around the world for over 38 years as a professional mime.  He was a student of Marcel Marceau and has appeared on "The Today Show", "Good Morning America" and "Real People."  Smith is a wonderful ASL storyteller, and he lives in Omaha. Smith grew up going to a residential Deaf School. 

During his visit he performed as a mime and did some ASL storytelling to all students in the gym at Beattie Elementary.
