This site allows Teachers to create individualized vocabulary practice based on current curriculum. Teachers choose words for student practice, then Students are given a variety of ways to practice the word to help them learn it and integrate it into their own vocabulary. In the free version, Teachers can assign a list for practice, but no assessment or tracking is available. Students should be advised to change their nickname to simple initials.

Parameters
Teachers should assign specific lists to Students, NOT encourage Students to find lists themselves. Students can NOT create their own lists and should not use the “Play” feature (which accesses random words). Teachers can create or find these specific lists and assign to Students. Teachers are encouraged to assign additional lists they have previewed as needed for Students who get done early rather than allowing for Students to play freely. Students should be advised to change their nickname to simple initials. ALSO: please check definitions included in any lists you find before assigning to Students to ensure accuracy.
