LARSP hosting book sale

The Lincoln Area Retired School Personal (LARSP) is holding its 33rd Annual Book Sale. This is a fund raiser to benefit children, with profits supporting numerous philanthropic endeavors that include scholarships to prospective teachers and contributions to other worthy projects involving children and youth.

The sale is held at Westfield-Gateway Mall at 66th “O” Street in two locations: the northwest corridor of the mall and the Auditorium on the lower level)

The sale begins on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012 with an Early Bird Sale from 5 to 8 p.m. There is a $10 entrance fee per person for this evening only.

The sale continues free to the public, Thursday through Saturday, Jan. 19 – 21 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 22 from noon to 4 p.m. in the Mall and the Auditorium.

The Book Sale is a volunteer effort by professional educators in the community.  Books are donated throughout the year. Approximately 7,500 square feet of books will be displayed.  Books cover every interest.  Prices range from 50 cents for paperbacks to $1.25 for hardbacks and Special Books are reasonably priced. The casual reader, students, collectors, historians and professionals should plan to attend.
