The Saturday Science program is a partnership between LPS and UNL which allows 5th graders to experience different physics concepts. The dates for Jaecks Saturday Science for 2021 will be February 6, 13, 20, 27 with a possible snow date of March 6 in the event of bad weather on one of the other days. There will be two sessions each date; one from 9:30 am to 11:30 a.m. and another from 1:00 pm to 3:00 p.m. Because of the Covid-19 restrictions, the enrollment limit will be 60 students (30 for each session). The tuition fee will be $40 per student. This fee enables students to attend all four sessions and includes weekly take home activities and materials. Students may indicate their preference of attending a morning or afternoon session on the application form.

Applications must be received at the Science Department at LPSDO (5905 O Street, Lincoln, NE 68510) Box 41 by 4:00 pm on Friday, January 15th. Since there are a limited number of spaces, applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. A waiting list will be created if needed. If space remains, applications will be accepted after this date.

Checks can be made payable to Lincoln Public Schools.
