During the event students received a free t-shirt designed by LPS students, saw a demonstrations by the Lincoln Electric System, participated in volleyball, cup stacking, spike ball, and a punt, pass, and kick contest. Each school’s CLC hosted activity booths for students to play with.

Members of the Goodrich band and Dawes Middle School CLC step team also performed for the crowd, and a demonstration of ultimate cup stacking by Huntington Elementary CLC and Park Middle School CLC students.

A proclamation from the mayor’s office was read by City Council member Leirion Gaylor Baird with the help of several student volunteers.
