Seesaw is not an LPS supported tool. Please contact the company for support. If signing in, use the "Google" option, with an LPS Google (@class.lps.org) account. If communicating with parents about the use of Seesaw, clarify that they do NOT have to join. If some parents choose to join (via the letter/code) that is OK but it is never required. Check Synergy to ensure that you are providing this option only to parents/guardians who have Educational Rights. Teachers should not enable the parent commenting feature. Teachers should use district approved methods of communicating with all parents such as via Synergy and not use tools like SeeSaw where only participating parents would have access to the information. In order to provide an equitable experience to students in the same grade level at the same school, use of Seesaw Plus (or any paid version) is only permitted if it is purchased by the school or the school’s PTO for ALL classrooms in the grade level at the school. Seesaw Plus can only be purchased by a school using a district credit card IF the teachers who it is purchased for go in and manually opt-out of the automatic renewal immediately after they gain access to the Seesaw Plus account to ensure that it is not automatically renewed the following year per LPS Purchasing.
