Backing Up Your Computer's Data
LPS Computing Services goes to great lengths to keep secure backups of the information kept in the district's data centers. This could apply to you and your work as well, but you have to have your information somewhere other than your laptop to make sure it is included in the district's backup strategy.

Do I Need FileMaker Pro?
With the sunset of AppleWorks and its built-in database abilities, FileMaker Pro has been identified as the supported, cross-platform database application for LPS. netTrekker
netTrekker d.i. is a web search engine designed just for students, teachers and parents. All searches return only educator selected results that have been organized around K-12 curricula and categorized by reading level. netTrekker is a subscription product available through LPS. It is not available for free to the general public.
