LPS continues to monitor improving state assessment scores

Lincoln Public Schools monitors student progress and achievement in a broad variety of ways, and results from the 2013-14 Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) scores – the piece of the achievement puzzle based on state standards – were released to the public on Tuesday and show steady improvement at LPS as well as above-state-average numbers in most grades and subject areas.

Grant allows focus on PBiS training

Lincoln Public Schools has received a grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Funding is about $250,000 per year for five years, and will be used to support staff and students through enhancement of the school district’s PBiS efforts, programs and strategies.
