Fredstrom award goes to Eastridge teacher

Eastridge Elementary School educator Bob Reeker, an art teacher and technology specialist, was awarded the R.L. Fredstrom Leadership Award Thursday.
The R. L. Fredstrom Leadership Award recognizes Lincoln Public Schools teachers or coordinators who have shown outstanding educational leadership.
“Excellence, commitment, dedication and passion are at the core of Bob’s vision for education,” said Eastridge Principal Deb Dabbert.
The award is presented in honor of Rudy Fredstrom, a long-time Nebraska teacher and administrator, who served as assistant superintendent at LPS from 1951-1975, and was a life-long leader in education.
The award is administered by the Foundation for Lincoln Public Schools and the Fredstrom family.
