LINCOLN PUBLIC SCHOOLS PRESS RELEASE

LPS to host surplus auction

Do you need cabinets for your garage?  How about an opaque projector?  These and many more items that have been declared surplus will be put up for auction by Lincoln Public Schools on Saturday, June 16, at the Distribution Center at 505 South Street.  The gates will open at 8 a.m. to allow the general public a chance to view the surplus items to be auctioned.  Registration for bid numbers will also start at 8 a.m., while the auction will begin at 9 a.m.

A list of some of the items and pictures are available at the following link: http://www.auctionbill.com/Nebraska/LINCOLN_PUBLIC_SCHOOLS-LINCOLN_NE_USA-Great_Plains_Realty_and_Auction_Co.shtml

All of the items auctioned off will be sold "as is, where is" with no warranties or guarantees by LPS or Great Plains Realty - Auction Co.  Once an item is sold, it becomes property of the bidder and removal is their responsibility. The gates will remain open all night to allow the removal of items.  Any item that is still at the Distribution Center on Monday, June 18, will become property of Lincoln Public Schools.  Lincoln Public Schools also reserves the right to add or remove any item before the auction begins.
