Harvest of Books coming up short

Harvest of Books still needs 3,000 books to meet the minimum of one book for every 1st and 2nd grader in the public, parochial and private schools!

The University Bookstore is extending the timeline until November 13th for you to purchase books for Harvest of Books.  The University Bookstore is located on the lower level of the Nebraska Union (14th and R Street).

Do your holiday shopping and support Harvest of Books!  Miriam LeBlanc with Usborne Books will have books available to purchase at the Ladies Night Out/Holiday Shopping Event on November 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Catering on the Boulevard Reception Hall (2602 Park Blvd.).  Additional vendors at this event will be donating a portion or percentage of sales to Harvest of Books.

Admission is FREE.  There will be over $1,500 in door prizes, as well as beverages/food for sale by Catering on the Boulevard, MUSIC by Primetime Music and Entertainment, and more.  The event is sponsored by the Cornhusker IAAP.
 
You can also send your monetary donations to Harvest of Books (4920 Normal Blvd. Lincoln NE 68506).  Volunteers will be going to bookstores in November to purchase books.
