Lori Pope, Cavett Elementary School, has received the Nebraska Para Educator of the Year Award from the Nebraska Council of School Administrators. She was recognized at the Nebraska Para Educator Conference in Kearney. Pope has been a para for 21 years. She was nominated by three Cavett teachers who wrote …
“We know Lori is not a para educator for the money. She is a para educator because she performs a vital role in the education of students at Cavett. She is dedicated to provide all students the best educational opportunity. Everyday, Lori displays her enthusiasm and enjoyment working with children and teachers at Cavett.
