Lincoln Public Schools will dedicate the new Arnold Elementary School on Sunday, October 18. The official dedication ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m. The public is invited.
The new Arnold Elementary, located at 5000 Mike Schoo Street, replaces the existing Arnold, which was built in 1959 as the school for the Lincoln Air Force Base. The design includes a “nose cone” shape at the main entrance.
The project is a collaboration with the Lincoln City Libraries and the City of Lincoln Parks and Recreation Department. The capacity is 792.
