Middle school intramurals information night is Jan. 5

There will be a family information session Wednesday, Jan. 5 at the Southeast High School auditorium about intramural drama, speech and debate for students currently in middle school.

Creative drama is offered to sixth-graders, while seventh- and eighth-graders can participate in speech and debate. Through drama, students can develop self-confidence and how to think on their feet through creative movement, vocal exercises and improvisational techniques. Seventh- and eighth-graders learn and practice basic skills in speech and debate.

Saturday morning sessions for drama, speech and debate take place at Southeast Jan. 8-Feb. 26. Check out our website for more information and a registration form, or contact your English teacher or call the LPS intramural office at 402-436-1610.
