Registration now open for LPS Spelling Bee

Students in grades 6-8 can now sign up for the 2022 LPS Spelling Bee, which will be held Saturday, Feb. 12 at Culler Middle School. Doors open at 7:45 a.m., with competition beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The deadline to sign up is Jan. 28. Students and families can pick up a registration form at their school’s main office. For more information, visit www.spellingbee.com

The winner of the LPS competition is entered into the Omaha World-Herald Midwest Spelling Bee in the spring, and the winner of that contest will compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
