Work Experience

Guidelines Effective 2009/10 School Year

Students may enroll for a semester of Work Experience for either 5 credits (work 90 hours) or 10 credits (work 180 hours).  Students may be added to the course at anytime but the following chart indicates the maximum credit that can be earned at the time of entry into the class.

Students must satisfactorily complete ALL of the above to earn any amount of credit. 

*Students should be enrolled in three other classes to be considered for Work Experience.  Preference is for students to take regular elective classes rather than Work Experience.

** Students who are terminated with cause will not receive any credit.

***Students may earn a cumulative total of 20 work-based learning credits during high school.
