EASTRIDGE ELEMENTARY:
RTI, (Response To Intervention) Para, 3.75 hrs: Will implement research-based reading interventions with small groups of grade K-2 "at risk" students and or assist with behavioral interventions. Duties will also include helping with screening and progress monitoring assessments as well as charting or documenting student progress. Will also assist with the morning greeting and noon recess duty. Work schedule is negotiable. Salary $11.11/hr. Closes 7/6/09

Information about Paraeducator Positions:
Lincoln Public Schools is continuously taking applications for paraeducators and substitute paraeducators. The responsibilities entail a variety of duties including classroom and lunchroom supervision; assisting teachers with materials and activities; aiding a student with special needs - learning and behavioral needs, as well as mental and physical challenges. Hours range from 2 to 7 hours/day. Paraeducator salary range is $9.23 to $11.25/hr. Substitute Paraeducator salary range is $7.90 to $10.00/hr.
TECHNICIAN POSITIONS: (Complete Classified Application)
ROPER ELEMENTARY:
Health Tech, 7 hrs/day: Provides First Aid, CPR, minor illness cares and medication administration for school community under the direction of School Nurse. Position involves high level of responsibility and independence working as a team with the School Nurse, staff and administrator. Training provided, computer skills preferred. First Aid and CPR certification required (reimbursement available). Salary $11.07/hr. Closes 7/6/09
DISTRIBUTION CENTER POSITIONS: (Complete Classified Application)
Warehouse Worker, 8 hrs/day, 190 day calendar: Requires High school diploma or GED. Commercial warehouse and delivery experience desired. Individual must be able to work in extremes of hot and cold weather. The position will include operation of a delivery truck between LPS facilities, utilization of a fork lift and pallet jack, and picking out supplies and equipment. Requires a Commercial Drivers License (CDL). Applicant must meet standards of District Driving Policy. Applicant must review and complete "Applicant Driver Certification" form at time of application. Strong customer relation skills are a necessity. 2009-10 Salary is $19.98/hr + benefits. Closes 7/6/09

Mentors for Highly Gifted Students
Qualified persons needed to work with highly gifted students in the Visual Arts and the following academic areas: Math, Science, English, Social Studies and World Languages including Chinese and Arabic.
Requirements: University level academic standing of Junior, Senior, BA/BS or above; minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 and at least 15 semester credit hours in subject with a subject G.P.A. of 3.5 or above. Applicant must be available during the student’s regular school day during the school year.

TRANSPORTATION POSITIONS: (Complete Classified Application)
Lincoln Public Schools is continuously accepting applications for bus driver and transportation para for 2009-2010 school year. Regular routes are available as well as substitute positions. Route hours are typically 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. and/or 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Excellent driving record required for bus driver.
Salary for regular bus driver: $14.63/hr. + benefits. Salary for substitute bus driver: $14.85/hr.
Salary for transportation para $10.45/hr. Salary for substitute transportation para $10.62/hr.
